Songwriter is a music development project for both solo artists and bands. Sessions last for about 3 hours and are designed to help the artist with various aspects of songwriting such as:
Song Creation i.e Genre / Theme / Story / Structure / Lyrics / Poetic Meter / Language / Melody / Lyrics
The EMA is for those working within the industry that want to connect with other industry types across the county. It's an opportunity to build new relationships, share information and to develop new ideas. If are not yet part of it and would like to be then drop an email to Tony at tony@edma.uk

Performance / Musicality / Stage Craft / Production / Art of Sound checking / Music Technology
Throughout the sessions music leaders will also offer advice on topics such as: Getting Gigs / Musicians Union / PRS / PPL / Releasing your music / Career options / Local venues to play
The EMDA has teamed up with CMU (Complete Music Update) to host industry talks across the county that will give you an insight to how the music industry works and provide you with the information you will need to build a career as a musician.
